LADY FLASH is an indie rock band from Osaka, Japan.

Featuring both male and female vocals, the band blends jangly guitars, catchy melodies, and a slightly twisted pop sensibility. Their sound moves between indie pop, post-punk, and alternative rock, drawing comparisons to artists such as Alvvays, Frankie Cosmos, Pavement, XTC, DEVO, and Vampire Weekend.

Active for over 15 years in Japan’s independent music scene, LADY FLASH has released several records and performed internationally, including shows in Taiwan. Their music is bright, restless, melodic, and a little strange in the best way.
